Staying safe from COVID-19 | Educational infographic Poster | South Africa


The COVID-19 Pandemic has had a harsh effect on all of South Africans and the world; and while it forces us to distance ourselves from one another; it also hands us the opportunity to grow together to ensure we continue to stay safe, educated and healthy. The Call 2 Care team created a series of educational posters in hope to assist the public and communities in our care, with educational materials on ways to stay safe from novel coronavirus or COVID-19. The posters below are an instrument tool used to educate our communities and beneficiaries using guidelines from the Center of Disease Control and Prevention. Below are two poster options, one in rich colour and one in plain colour depending on your preference. We hope these resources assist you and your loved ones stay safe from COVID-19 and our collective fight against this pandemic.

Stay at home

Limit all travel. Unless you're going out for food, medicines or other essentials.


Avoid Touching

Stop hand shakes and use non-contact greeting methods and avoid touching your face. Coughs or sneeze into your elbows.


Watch for symptoms

Aside from fever, Covid-19 symptoms include cough, difficulty breathing, and fatigue.


Practice social distancing

If you need to go out, maintain at least a 2 meter distance from others.


Wash your hands

Practice good hand hygiene by washing your hands with soap and water or using alcohol or hand sanitizer. Clean hands after touching doors and tables.


Stay in a specific room

If you're sick or suspect yourself to be sick, it's best to stay in a designated room or area away from others. If possible, have a designated toilet and bathroom as well.


Call your doctor or hospital before visiting

If you need to seek medical attention whether for viral symptoms or other medical care reasons, contact your doctor or hospital ahead of time so they can prepare and take precautions for your arrival. You can also call 0800 029 999 for details on testing centers and general advice on next steps.

Call 2 Care is a non-profit Organisation located in Cape Town that improves lives through educational outreach projects and socially conscious volunteer events while offering a sustainable end to end offering to corporates, government, and the general public. Holistic community development is the essence of what we do, creating avenues for giving back and volunteering in order to transform communities from within in order to leave a sustainable difference. 



Families living hand-to-mouth have lost their jobs or income due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and are left destitute. We need your support to provide COVID-19 Essential Care Packages to families on our waiting list. To assist families in need, we have partnered with Village Power Traders, a large family-run wholesaler, to source wholesale products at bulk cost price. Our base parcel includes essential food and hygiene products and costs only R255 per person and is well below retail value. Additional female sanitary and baby items are added to parcels in consultation with families in need. Shipped with these parcels, we are providing families with customised educational materials to educate and empower these families in the fight against COVID-19.
