The UCT GSB Consulting Club is the schools oldest club and connects students with industry professionals to expose them to the world of management consulting. It is host to an annual conference where industry leaders and post-graduates are invited to learn about and discuss trending industry topics. In 2017 for example, the conference set to gauge the relative risks and rewards of investing in emerging markets. We put the question to the industry and thought leaders to spark debate in the aim to ignite positive action.
Retaining relevance in an ever-changing environment is a challenge every company faces. With advances in technologies, new generations of employees and resources becoming ever scarcer, keeping one’s edge is no longer an option, it has become mandatory. From local start-ups to global players, companies are looking for new ways to reconcile ambition with a VUCA world.
In partnership with TEDxCapeTown, the 2018 Business for Tomorrow Conference seeks to unpack these notions to help you become more agile leaders.
