CALL 2 CARE IMPROVES LIVES THROUGH EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH PROJECTS AND SOCIALLY CONSCIOUS EVENTS
Call 2 Care is a Non-Profit Organisation located in Cape Town that improves lives through educational community development projects and socially conscious events while offering a sustainable end to end service to corporates, government, and the general public. Holistic community development is the essence of what we do, creating avenues for volunteering towards transforming communities from within to leave a sustainable difference. We are also a registered PBO with the South Africa Revenue Service (SARS) with the registration number of 930 069 463.
Born on Heritage Day – the 24th September 2014 – in Cape Town, a group of passionate volunteers and philanthropists came together to host a social outreach event in Khayelitsha’s Baphumelele Children’s Home. Following this event, Call 2 Care's vision was formed: to improve lives through education and make it simple for the public, corporates, and government to make a difference - all expertly packaged in an internship, event and project format that provide beneficiaries with the right tools to empower themselves so to inspire others and positively transform communities.
We have a proven track record of connecting worthy beneficiaries to volunteers, NGOs and corporates to deliver a positive outcome. From improving health and nutrition at hospitals and children's homes, empowering SA's local artists, to implementing water-wise food gardens.
OUR APPROACH
Our team take on the role of community development consultants and serve as the voice for various disadvantaged communities in order to set up educational projects and socially conscious events that connect corporates, NGOs and volunteers to benefit these communities. With all project implementations, Call 2 Care build strong foundations for future growth by focusing on education, skills development and community engagement. Our belief is by building the right kind of relationships and providing the right type of support, we can help a beneficiary from becoming forever reliant on donors to rather empower themselves so to positively transform their communities.
